gates (Mercury Exit off U.S. 95)
11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.: Optional Civil Disobedience at Gate
of Test
Site. Trespassers will be processed as soon as demonstrators
leave the
Test Site (NNSS) gates. Juveniles trespassing, or those who
enter the
Test Site from other than the cattle guard gates may be taken
to Beatty
or Tonopah for processing.
11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.: Transportation to The Temple of Goddess
Spirituality,
Cactus Springs, lunch.
1 - 2:30 p.m.: Vigil at Gates of Creech Air Force Base
2:30 p.m. - 3:45 p.m.: Travel from Indian Springs back to
Las Vegas
3:45 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.: Soup and Bread Dinner at the home

Motel: We have reserved 30 rooms at the Motel
6 (#67), 195
East Tropicana Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
This motel is 1.9 miles from the airport and on a direct
bus route to Christ the King Catholic Community. You
can reserve directly online at motel6.com or
if you get a higher rate than our confirmed rate (below), call 1-
800-544-4866, our Confirmation # is M006700696.
Confirmed rates per night (Fri. & Sat.): 1 person: $50,
2 people: $56, 3 people: $59, 4 people: $62, Thurs.: 1
person: $32, 2 people: $38, 3 people: $44, 4: $50.
Low Income folks: We received generous donations
for this event, so we are offering low cost housing and
reserved 10 rooms at the Motel 6 for 40 people (4
people per room). We are asking for a donation of $6
per person per night. Please let us know soon so we
can reserve more rooms if needed. If you can sleep
on floor or share double beds that will help. Sleeping
bag space will not be available at the church and the
homes of volunteers are already filled with people coming to the event.
Transportation:
Airport Shuttle:Please e-mail or call if you
still need a pickup. If you are
being picked up, please go to the “Passenger Pickup Area”,
straight out the
doors, East, from the hallway outside the Baggage Claim Area,
and then
across the bridge. Do not go to Shuttle or Taxi or Rental Car
Areas, please.
Shuttles: Will leave from Motel 6 on Friday
Morning, Oct. 7 at 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.;
on Saturday morning, Oct. 8 at 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.; and on
Sunday morning, Oct. 9 at 8:00 a.m.
Bus: People can carpool from the Motel 6 for
the event, but CAT Bus Rout e #201 goes West on
Tropicana every 25 minutes on weekdays and every
hour on weekends. It is a 19 minute ride. To catch the
Westbound Bus from Motel 6 to the church, go right
on Tropicana (East) to Koval Lane, cross Tropicana,
and catch the bus on the north side of Tropicana and
Koval Lane.
To Test Site and Creech: We will be renting
vans, but it is important for you to let us know if you need
a ride to the Test Site or if you have room to transport
others.
